Week 1: Orientation
For this week, we will primarily be going over the expectations for the rest of the course.
Introductions and placements.
To begin each class, we will have a time to share something that has occurred in your internship experience. We'll call it "one bad, one good." It will also be a time to share any questions that you have.
For your portfolio, you will be able to choose if you wish to create the portfolio online or on paper. Thoughts on both options will be shared.
Class topic: In your opinion, what are the most important qualities of a successful special education teacher?
Special ed. law: bring a case with you next week. Check out the Resources page for places to look.
